OpenNow is designed as a local, read-only Markdown reader. Documents stay on your Mac. OpenNow does not create accounts, does not run ads, and does not collect analytics.

OpenNow does not collect personal data from within the app.
OpenNow does not upload your Markdown documents, images, or file contents to a server.
OpenNow does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.
OpenNow does not require user accounts or sign-in.

Local Files

OpenNow reads Markdown files and related local resources, such as relative images, from locations you choose on your Mac. File access is used only to render content locally and to reopen files or folders you previously authorized.

App Store Distribution

OpenNow does not offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, ads, accounts, analytics, or tracking frameworks. If you install OpenNow through the App Store, Apple processes the download through your Apple Account under Apple's App Store terms.
